Genetic modification is being used to improve food's colour, to make the food look more attractive or to increase the shelf life of the products. There are people who fear genetically modified food, and there are others who believe that it is the future and the way to end world hunger. The problem with genetically modified vegetables is that there is not enough scientific knowledge to prove the long term effects [(rwho)]. | ||
